Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting them with their purchases, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will play a key role in promoting our products, managing inventory, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs.
- Utilize effective communication skills to provide information about product features and benefits.
- Maintain knowledge of current sales to effectively upsell products.
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure an appealing shopping environment.
- Assist in supervising junior staff members when needed, providing guidance and support.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly with professionalism.
- Perform regular inventory checks to maintain stock levels and report discrepancies.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash registers.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer calls and inquiries.
- Ability to upsell products by understanding customer needs and preferences.
- Experience in retail sales is preferred.
- Supervisory skills are a plus, enabling you to lead by example within the team.
