Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations, delivering high-quality plumbing solutions that meet client expectations. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
- Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical manuals to execute precise pipe installation and system layouts
- Ensure all plumbing work complies with local building codes, plumbing building codes, gas piping systems regulations, and safety standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment to assemble and install plumbing components efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing plumbing systems to prevent leaks, blockages, or failures in residential and commercial settings
- Conduct inspections of plumbing installations for quality assurance and adherence to code requirements during construction phases
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to coordinate work schedules and ensure timely project progress
Experience
- Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber with a strong background in construction plumbing projects
- Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques, carpentry skills, HVAC systems understanding, and remodeling experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with construction site safety regulations and OSHA standards for field service operations
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately while applying basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Experience working with pipe threading tools, gas piping systems, mechanical components, and pipe installation techniques
- Demonstrated ability to perform maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) tasks efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving as needed for site visits or material transport
