Responsibilities
- Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls with professionalism, courtesy, and enthusiasm to address patient inquiries, appointment scheduling, and follow-up needs
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems accurately by entering data swiftly and ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with privacy regulations
- Assist patients with health insurance questions, coverage details, and billing issues by providing clear explanations and solutions
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools to document interactions, generate reports, and maintain organized records of patient communications
- Support healthcare providers by coordinating appointment schedules, verifying patient information, and facilitating seamless communication between departments
- Apply strong phone etiquette to de-escalate concerns, resolve problems efficiently, and ensure patient satisfaction at every touchpoint
- Demonstrate technical proficiency in using healthcare software systems such as EMR/EHR platforms for efficient record management
Requirements
- Must speak Spanish
- Proven experience in call center environments or healthcare support roles with excellent phone call management skills
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel for documentation purposes
- Knowledge of medical terminology, health insurance processes, and electronic health records (EHR) management systems
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality while maintaining accuracy through data entry tasks
- Customer service-oriented mindset with problem-solving skills to address patient concerns effectively
- Previous medical office or healthcare support experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
