Assistant Site Manager
Position Overview
The Assistant Site Manager supports the Site Manager/Regional Account Manager in overseeing janitorial operations, staff performance, and client satisfaction. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining high service standards. The Assistant Site Manager will help manage day-to-day activities, ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols, and assist with scheduling, training, and supply coordination.
Essential Functions:
The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to:

Oversee daily on-site operations, ensuring service delivery meets contract scope and performance expectations while serving as the primary on-site liaison with the client.

Enforce company policies and disciplinary procedures, ensuring consistent, fair application with timely documentation and adherence to all protocols and regulatory standards.

Conduct regular inspections, address service issues, maintain records, and work with site management to implement improvements.

Manage, train, and mentor staff, promoting strong leadership, continuous learning, proper cleaning techniques, safety compliance, and “train-the-trainer” development.

Manage cleaning supply inventory and equipment, ensuring availability, maintenance, and accurate usage tracking.

Assist with scheduling and timekeeping to optimize labor usage and stay within budget.

Maintain a consistent physical presence on-site, actively monitoring day-to-day activities, responding in real time to operational needs, and providing hands-on support during high-demand periods.

Physical Demands:

Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, bending, twisting, reaching, squatting, and crawling.

Must be able to work in varying warehouse environments and temperatures, including exposure to noise, heat, cold, and indoor/outdoor conditions.

Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds frequently.
Qualifications:

Previous supervisory experience in janitorial or facilities management, with strong leadership,

communication, and interpersonal skills.

Experience managing staff schedules, labor coverage, and daily operational priorities across multiple

buildings or large sites.

Proficiency with basic computer systems for reporting, timekeeping, onboarding, and inventory tracking.

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or coursework in management is a plus.

Ability to read and write, bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
