Job Summary
READCORP INC, a recognized leader in the Northeast Pennsylvania home improvement sector, is seeking a high-energy, organized, and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our team at our Old Forge headquarters. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners and businesses looking for services from our three premier divisions: NEPA Cleaning Pros, NEPA Roofing Pros, and NEPA Painting Pros.
Your main objective will be to turn inbound inquiries into scheduled jobs and estimate appointments. This position blends customer service, consultative sales, and administrative support. Note: This is not a "cold-calling" telemarketing role. You will be dealing primarily with warm leads, inbound calls, and existing customers, though some follow-up outbound calling is required.
Core Responsibilities
- Inbound Lead Management: Answer incoming phone calls and respond to digital inquiries (web forms, emails, social media) from prospective customers across all three NEPA brands.
- Estimating & Pricing: Evaluate customer needs over the phone using company-provided software, satellite imagery, or square-footage calculators to provide accurate service estimates (particularly for cleaning and painting inquiries).
- Scheduling: Coordinate and manage the calendars for our field estimators, roofing specialists, and service crews to ensure efficient routing and timely appointments.
- Warm Outbound Follow-Ups: Conduct outbound calls to follow up on pending quotes, re-engage past customers for seasonal services, or clarify details on incoming web leads. No cold-calling required.
- Administrative Support: Perform daily office tasks including updating the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system, processing initial payments/deposits, filing digital paperwork, and sending confirmation emails/texts to clients.
- Cross-Selling & Upselling: Educate customers on the full suite of READCORP INC services. (e.g., If a customer calls for painting, introducing them to our roofing or cleaning services).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, scheduling, or a fast-paced administrative office environment. Experience in the home improvement, construction, or home services industry is a major plus.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You must be articulate, friendly, persuasive, and able to build rapport quickly over the phone.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient with standard office software (Microsoft Office/Google Workspace) and comfortable learning industry-specific CRM and scheduling software (e.g., Jobber, Housecall Pro, or Salesforce).
- Organization & Multi-Tasking: Ability to stay organized while managing multiple phone lines, responding to emails, and accurately inputting data simultaneously.
- Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Northeast Pennsylvania (NEPA) geography and communities to ensure accurate scheduling and routing.
