Allied Overhead Door, a Total Garage Store company, is hiring a Commercial Overhead Door Technician in Nolensville, TN. We sell, install, and service commercial overhead doors, operators, and dock equipment across East Tennessee. We are seeking a dependable, safety-minded technician with commercial door or related mechanical experience.
This is a full-time, year-round position at a company with a team-focused culture that offers competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities
- Install and service commercial overhead doors, including rolling steel and sectional doors
- Install and service operators and dock equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Perform preventive maintenance on doors and dock systems
- Maintain a safe and clean job site
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Follow OSHA and company safety policies
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of commercial overhead door, dock equipment, or related mechanical experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude required, electrical troubleshooting experience a plus
- Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years driving experience and acceptable record
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work at heights
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Team-oriented mindset
We require a pre-employment drug screen, background check and acceptable driving record.
