Overview:
We are a small business. Working in a team atmosphere is important. We are looking for strong candidates wth a positive attitude and outlook. We are seeking a skilled customer service and Meat Wrapper to join our team, with the potential to advance to assistant manager.
Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm and 2 Saturdays per month 8am to 12pm
As a Meat Wrapper, you will be responsible for packaging and labeling various cuts of meat to ensure quality and customer satisfaction. This position requires excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Wrap, package, and label various cuts of meat according to customer specifications
- Ensure all meat products are properly sealed and stored in appropriate containers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat wrapping area
- Assist customers with their meat selection and provide exceptional customer service
- Ability to use calculator for sales transactions
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Requirements:
- Basic math skills for measuring and weighing meat portions accurately
- Strong attention to detail to ensure proper packaging and labeling
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and different cuts of meat is a plus
