We’re excited you’re interested in joining Raising Brave! Raising Brave Boutique is a women’s and boys' boutique rooted in bold style, real boyhood, motherhood, and creating a welcoming shopping experience for families. We are looking for a dependable, friendly, and motivated Boutique Associate to join our team as we open our brick-and-mortar storefront this September.
The Boutique Associate will help support daily store operations, provide excellent customer service, support sales, and confidently operate the boutique independently during scheduled shifts when other team members are not present.
Duties
- Greet customers and create a warm, fun shopping experience
- Assist with sizing, styling, product questions, and checkout
- Open and/or close the boutique
- Operate Shopify POS and process purchases, returns, and exchanges
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually on-brand sales floor
- Restock, steam, fold, tag, and help merchandise products
- Assist with inventory and receiving new merchandise
- Keep fitting rooms and customer-facing areas tidy and ready for customers
- Pack online and wholesale orders
- Assist with simple social media content
- Follow store procedures for safety, security, and cash handling
- Communicate store concerns, customer feedback, and inventory needs to management
- Take initiative and stay productive during slower periods
Skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Dependable, trustworthy, and punctual
- Organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable learning and using a POS system
- Basic cash-handling skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm in unexpected situations
- Retail or customer service experience is preferred, but not required
We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys serving others, connecting with moms and families, and helping customers feel comfortable and confident while they shop. The right person is dependable, friendly, proactive, creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently when other team members are not present. You should be someone who notices what needs to be done, takes ownership of your responsibilities, enjoys helping bring the Raising Brave brand to life, and cares about creating a fun, welcoming experience for every customer.
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
