Job Overview

Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems such as Qu Beyond POS for order processing and transactions
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, ensuring accuracy and timely service
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with sanitation standards
- Handle cash register operations, process cash and card transactions accurately
- Assist with food handling, serving, bussing tables, and sanitation tasks to ensure a clean environment
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation
- Support team members in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure quality and safety of all food served
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, quick service or fast food restaurants, or café environments is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Retail sales experience including upselling techniques is advantageous
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if needed
- Prior experience in food preparation, serving, bussing, or cashiering is desirable but not mandatory
