We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Aircraft Fueler to join our Ground Operations team. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in mechanics, maintenance, construction, warehouse operations, equipment operation, landscaping, automotive service, manufacturing, or other physically active, hands-on environments.

Schedule
- Full-time position averaging approximately 40 hours per week (75–80 hours per biweekly pay period)
- Fueling operations are staffed 7 days per week between 6:30 AM and 7:00 PM
- Typical schedule is six workdays per week, with shifts varying based on operational needs
- Weekend availability is required
- Scheduling flexibility is required. While you will generally work a consistent shift, operational needs may occasionally require schedule adjustments or coverage of an alternate shift with reasonable notice.
Compensation
- $18.00/hour during introductory period
- $19.00/hour upon successful completion of the introductory period
What You'll Do
- Safely and efficiently fuel and defuel aircraft in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.
- Operate fuel trucks, hydrant carts, and other fueling equipment.
- Accurately document fuel transactions and maintain fueling records.
- Perform daily quality control inspections and routine operational checks on fueling equipment.
- Maintain fueling vehicles and equipment in a clean, safe, and serviceable condition.
- Verify fuel type and quantity to ensure safe aircraft fueling operations.
- Follow all FAA, environmental, and company safety procedures.
- Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and safe ramp environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one year of experience in a hands-on position such as maintenance, mechanical work, construction, warehouse operations, manufacturing, landscaping, automotive service, equipment operation, or a related trade
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely use hand tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing operational priorities
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Preferred
- Previous aircraft fueling or aviation ground operations experience

While performing the essential duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to:
- Work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, rain, and direct sunlight.
- Stand and walk for prolonged periods throughout the workday.
- Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb.
- Frequently use hands and fingers to operate fueling equipment, tools, and vehicle controls.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Safely climb ladders and access aircraft fueling points.
- Operate commercial fueling vehicles and other motorized equipment.
- Maintain visual awareness and hear sufficiently to work safely around operating aircraft, vehicles, and equipment.
Work Environment
This position is performed primarily outdoors on an active airport ramp. Employees work in varying weather conditions and around moving aircraft, vehicles, and fueling equipment while following established safety procedures. The fuel truck is not air-conditioned; however, employees are provided cooling fans, have access to shaded break areas, and are encouraged to bring water or other beverages to remain hydrated throughout the workday.
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
