About the Role
Good Lookin' is looking for a dependable, upbeat Front of House Shift Lead who enjoys taking care of guests and helping a team succeed.
In this role, you’ll work alongside the front-of-house team while helping each shift run smoothly. You’ll set the tone for great hospitality, support employees during busy periods, solve problems as they arise, and help maintain a clean, welcoming restaurant.
This is a hands-on position for someone who leads by example and is comfortable balancing guest service with shift-level leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Provide friendly, attentive service and create a welcoming experience for every guest
- Lead front-of-house operations during assigned shifts
- Open or close the restaurant according to established procedures
- Help assign tasks and keep the team organized throughout the shift
- Support and coach team members in the moment
- Respond professionally to guest questions, concerns, and feedback
- Coordinate with the kitchen to maintain smooth, accurate service
- Handle cash, point-of-sale transactions, and shift closeout duties accurately
- Monitor cleanliness, organization, food safety, and service standards
- Communicate important shift information to managers and other team members
- Step into any front-of-house position when needed
What We’re Looking For
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience required
- Shift lead, supervisor, or other leadership experience preferred
- A positive, calm, and solutions-focused approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Dependability and good judgment
- Ability to stay organized and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort giving clear direction and constructive feedback
- Availability to work weekends
Schedule
This is a part-time to full-time position with approximately 24–36 hours available per week.
