Maintenance Facilities Associate
Pay: $24 per hour plus 8% shift differential for 2nd shift
Schedule: Full-Time | 1st or 2nd shift
Sapphire Recruitment is seeking a dependable Maintenance Facilities Associate to support facility, recycling, grounds, and general maintenance operations in a manufacturing environment.
- Operate and monitor recycling and baling equipment
- Load, unload, separate, and organize recyclable and scrap materials
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing scrap loads and trucks
- Clean and maintain equipment, including greasing, changing coils, and clearing jams
- Operate industrial power equipment to move scrap and clean shop areas
- Perform landscaping and seasonal grounds maintenance, including snow plowing, shoveling, salting, and sanding
- Assist with light mechanical work, floor repairs, cement work, and general facility maintenance
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required
- Forklift certification required
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to operate industrial power and landscaping equipment
- Previous industrial equipment experience preferred
- Ability to lift and move 25–50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally
- Ability to push, pull, bend, kneel, twist, crawl, and reach throughout an 8–12 hour shift
- Comfortable working in industrial conditions that may occasionally be hazardous or physically demanding
