Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Behavior Therapist. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality behavioral health services to children and individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorders. Duties
- Implement evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy protocols tailored to each client’s individualized care plan
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as grooming, feeding, and communication to promote independence
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
- Support clients in various settings including home-based environments and school settings with behavior management techniques
- Document medical records, treatment notes, and progress reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations and professional standards
- Communicate effectively with clients’ families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care plans
- Conduct behavioral assessments and contribute to the development of personalized care plans for clients with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities
Skills
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) principles and implementation strategies
- Experience working directly with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders or disabilities
- Proficiency in behavioral data collection, analysis, and documentation for progress tracking
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation procedures, and HIPAA compliance standards
- Ability to assist with ADLs and support behavior management techniques effectively
- Experience working in school or home-based settings delivering direct behavioral therapy
- Excellent client communication skills with a professional and ethical approach aligned with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
