Medicare Insurance Agent – 1099 Independent Contractor | High Commission + Leads Provided
Overview
We're a growing independent Medicare insurance team expanding ahead of AEP and we're looking for 20 licensed agents ready to take their income to the next level. This is a 1099 opportunity with no captive restrictions, no micromanagement and no income ceiling. You bring the license and the hunger and we will bring the leads, the training and the marketing support. We are here to help you build a book of business that pays you year after year. Responsibilities
- Consult with inbound Medicare eligible members to identify and enroll them in the right Medicare Advantage, Supplement or Part D plan from the top carriers.
- Follow up on company provided leads and convert them into enrolled clients
- Manage your own book of business with the help of your own customer care team and provide ongoing service to retain clients year over year
- Complete AHIP certification and carrier training ahead of AEP (October 15)
- Participate in team training sessions and stay current on plan changes and CMS guidelines
- Track activity and enrollments through our systems to stay organized during peak season
Skills & Qualifications
- Active health insurance license required before start
- Medicare sales experience preferred. Motivated newcomers with the right attitude and coachable will be considered
- Strong communication and consultative selling skills
- Coachable and team oriented you want to grow and you're open to feedback
- Comfortable working remotely and managing your own schedule
- Tech-savvy enough to navigate quoting tools, CRMs, and carrier portals
- Based in or licensed to sell in [Your State(s)]
Compensation & Details
- 1099 Independent Contractor
- Commission based with weekly pay and bonus paid end of month.
- Estimated earning potential: $80,000–$200,000+ based on production
- Residual income grows annually as your book builds
- Ability to build your own team and get paid while working your way up management.
