American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU float pool position requiring 2+ years experience, Epic charting, and prior travel experience.

Float pool position within ICU, requiring flexibility to float to CVICU, NICU, SICU, MICU, TICU, and Burn ICU as needed
-
Day shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
-
Patient ratio of 1:2

Every other weekend work required

Holiday coverage required
-
No on-call requirements

Epic EMR experience required
-
Active LA RN license or Compact RN license required at time of consideration

Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required

Required certifications: BLS, ACLS

Preferred certifications: CCRN, CPI

Epic charting experience required
-
Prior travel nursing experience required, as this unit does not accept first-time travelers

Two recent manager references required

Navy blue scrubs required

Deliver critical care nursing services across multiple ICU specialties as part of a float pool team

Maximum RTO of 5 days allowed during the assignment

Local candidates residing within 75 miles are accepted at the local rate

Former permanent staff must have separated from the health system for at least 1 year before being eligible for travel positions

First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
