We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our educational institution. The ideal candidate will develop students' skills and competence in basic and complex mathematical principles, equations, formulas and calculations, as well as an understanding of the application of mathematics in the solution of practical problems. while effectively communicating complex concepts and engaging students in their learning journey.
Duties
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and meet the diverse needs of students.
- Educate students on subjects such as Algebra ensuring comprehension and retention of material.
- Utilize effective communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly and encourage student participation.
- Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance library services and resources available for student learning.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with educational best practices and teaching methodologies.
- Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages student growth, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Mathematical Education or related discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
- Texas State Certification as a Mathematics Teacher.
- Prior experience teaching in a middle school mathematics classroom.
- Strong knowledge of subject matter.
- Proven ability to calculate academic performance metrics and assess student understanding effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
- Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with education administration processes is a plus.
- Passion for teaching and dedication to student success.

Pay: $64,500.00 - $90,000.00 per year
