Project Manager – Civil Engineering: Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Civil Engineeringto lead municipal and site development projects from planning through completion. This role is responsible for managing projects, supporting clients, mentoring staff, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
What You Will Do
- Manage municipal and site development engineering projects from initiation through completion.
- Lead the planning, design, and delivery of residential, commercial, industrial, roadway, stormwater, capital improvement, green infrastructure, and trail projects.
- Oversee civil engineering plan development and technical reviews.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and client expectations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Prepare technical reports, engineering documentation, and project correspondence.
- Mentor and support junior engineering staff through project guidance and professional development.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple office locations.
- Support business development efforts through proposal preparation, client engagement, and relationship building.
- Ensure projects meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational objectives.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Eight (8) or more years of civil engineering experience, with a focus on municipal or site development projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or the ability to obtain Texas licensure.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
