Overview
Join our Catholic Parish team as the Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant in Concordia.
Duties
- Maintain accurate financial records and monthly reports, invoicing, expense tracking, and bank reconciliations
- Handle inquiries professionally and efficiently for Council members, guests to the office, the Pastor, etc.
- Support office management tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation to ensure clarity, timeliness and accuracy.
- Assist with calendar management, appointment scheduling, and coordinating meetings as requested.
- Provide support to parishioners.
- Handle general clerical duties including filing, data entry, and managing office supplies to keep the workspace organized
Experience
- Office experience with strong computer skills and software knowledge such as Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated bookkeeping skills with experience in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment
- Previous roles involving customer support, front desk responsibilities, or administrative assistance are preferred
- Familiarity with office management procedures, data entry accuracy, and time management techniques is essential for success in this role
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
