Position: Special Inspector
Location: St. Paul, MN
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site inspections of:
- Structural steel, including welding and bolting
- Wood framing
- Fire-stopping systems, including fire penetrations and fire-resistant caulking
- Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems (EIFS)
- Document findings, prepare reports, and communicate results with clients and project teams
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in structural and architectural inspections
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification through the American Welding Society (preferred but not required)
- ICC certifications in relevant disciplines (preferred but not required)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
