DCO Deployment Technicians work at our data center and mainly handle deploying and decommissioning servers, assisting with upgrades/downgrades, auditing services, and maintaining inventory.

- Assist with server provisioning, building, upgrading, configuring, and canceling.
- Performing racking, cabling, and labeling of servers on the appropriate data center floors.
- Receiving and tracking shipped hardware components.
- Auditing, testing, installing, and upgrading server hardware.
- Keeping the inventory system updated while you work.
- Communicating professionally with clients and staff when resolving issues or providing assistance.
- Creating additional documentation for the department as necessary.
- Contributing to efforts and projects in the department to help improve or maintain best server deployment practices.
- Assisting with server maintenance and verifying upgrades.
- Monitor and addressing order, upgrade, and cancellation queues.
- Escalating issues appropriately.
- Self-motivated and result-oriented.

- Comfortable with command-line interfaces.
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required equipment.

- Bachelor's Degree or Certification(s) in a related field.
- Comfortable working in multiple OS environments
- Advanced hardware knowledge.
- Knowledge of cPanel / Plesk / Linux / Windows systems.
- Understanding and experience with server upgrades.
- Experience working in a data center.
- Basic BASH and/or Python scripting skill.
- RHEL and/or Debian CLI proficiency with a strong emphasis on RHEL derivatives.
