The Hilton Garden Inn Southfield is currently seeking Detail Oriented Housekeeping Attendants to join our Team! Our Housekeeping team makes our hotels feel like home. As a Housekeeping Attendant, your contribution helps ensure guests an enjoyable and comfortable stay.
The Hilton Garden Inn Southfield is a select service hotel with 194 guestrooms, just over 5,600 square feet of meeting space as well as our Garden Grille & Bar restaurant.
As a Housekeeper, you will:
· Clean, dust, polish and vacuum to make sure guest rooms and bathrooms meet Hilton brand standards.
· Change all linens, make beds, and leave the bathroom sparkling.
· Restock all guest room supplies such as soap, shampoo, towels, coffee and cups.
· Organize linen closets, restock your cart, and get ready for the next day, before your shift ends each day.
· Greet guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of various cleaning equipment. Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs. Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extending arms over head to perform cleaning tasks, and work in confined spaces. Must be able to work weekend and holidays.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
