Job Title: Recreational Gymnastics Coach Job Description
Overview: Gym Skills Cleveland is seeking energetic, positive, and responsible individuals to join our team of gymnastics and tumbling coaches at our facility in North Ridgeville, OH. A background in coaching gymnastics, tumbling, or ninja is preferred, but not required. We offer full-scale training upon hire.

Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Previous experience in gymnastics, tumbling, cheerleading, or ninja
- Physical ability to spot children of various ages and sizes
- Ability to interact and build relationships with children of various ages and their parents/guardians
- Ability to motivate and effectively explain skills and technique to students
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with other team members

Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Create/follow curricula for classes
- Design and set up obstacle courses/stations for students
- Lead, teach, and motivate children through an energetic class while prioritizing students safety, learning and fun!
- Track and document students’ progress
- Clean mats/gym/lounge area
- Build relationships with families and children and update parents/guardians on student progress
- Work in respectful, collaborative, positive, and supportive team culture
- Coach other programming and special events as needed
- Cross train and may have job duties in other departments: Office, Smoothie Bar, etc.
- Travel to schools or daycares during the week for our Mobile Gym Program
Additional Details and Requirements
- Part time position available
- Hours/availability needs: Must be free to work weekday evenings and Weekend mornings - Specific needs on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
- Must be able to work rotating shifts on Fridays and Saturday/Sunday for Birthday Parties
- Must be able to actively move around and lift up to 30 lbs
- Background check required
- CPR Certifications required upon hire

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
