Works closely with the SBHC Director and clinical staff to ensure seamless daily operations.
Supports the daily operations, outreach, and management of health clinics located within educational facilities. Responsibilities include managing patient enrollment, coordinating consent processes, tracking clinic data, and assisting with public health outreach programs to ensure students have smooth access to care.
Duties:
- Works to help BPHC advance as an antiracist organization by meeting or exceeding the standards
set by the BPHC Anti-Racism Policy.
- Work with the program director to promote the SBHC to students, families, and school faculty to increase services utilization and students’ engagement in health services.
- Acts as a liaison between the SBHC, school staff, parents, community health organizations, and providers.
- Implement health programs that address student needs, leading to better health and academic performance.
- Streamline the program health services to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Providing culturally appropriate health education, information, and outreach in community-based settings, such as homes, schools.
- Provides health education, counseling on students’ health issues, identified by the Program Director
