Everion Rx is seeking an experienced, dependable, and patient-focused Pharmacy Technician to join our growing independent community pharmacy. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional patient care.
We are looking for someone who can quickly integrate into our workflow, communicate effectively with patients and providers, and assist our pharmacists in delivering outstanding pharmacy services.
Position Details
- Part-Time Position
- Minimum of 2 days per week
- Scheduled days will vary based on operational needs.
- Shift hours varies, with opportunities for additional hours as needed.
Responsibilities
- Process and prepare prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Enter prescription information accurately and efficiently.
- Process insurance claims and resolve third-party rejections.
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients professionally.
- Coordinate prescription transfers and refill requests.
- Maintain inventory and assist with medication ordering.
- Support daily pharmacy operations while ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain patient confidentiality.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Texas Pharmacy Technician Registration.
- At least 2 years of retail or community pharmacy experience.
- Strong knowledge of prescription processing and insurance billing.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
Preferred:
- Experience using BestRx Pharmacy Management Software.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT).
- Experience in an independent pharmacy setting.
