Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring all special requests are noted
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and adherence to food safety protocols
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage tables efficiently by bussing, resetting, and assisting with food handling and sanitation practices
- Able to learn how to make drinks and help with food and drink preparation when needed
- Maintain knowledge of menu ingredients, preparation methods, and wine or beverage pairings to assist guests effectively
- Daily cleaning duties And inventory checks
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant roles, preferably with fine dining or nightclub environments
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Familiarity with POS systems or able to learn
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for better understanding of food preparation processes
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and assist guests seamlessly
- Basic math skills for order totaling, tip calculation, and cash handling tasks
