Yard Helper
Mid Lane Carriers, Inc. is seeking a reliable, hardworking Yard Helper to join our team in Wilmington, CA. This is a hands-on position that supports our daily operations by keeping our yards organized, clean, and running efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver parts, supplies, and materials as needed.
- Travel between company yards to assist with daily operational needs.
- Shuttle paperwork, permits, and documents between offices, yards, and vendors.
- Sweep out shipping containers before and after use.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the yard, including picking up trash and debris.
- Clean and stock restrooms.
- Assist with organizing equipment, tools, and inventory.
- Perform general labor and maintenance tasks around the yard.
- Support dispatch, mechanics, and management with miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive company vehicles safely.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Forklift or yard equipment experience is a plus, but not required.
- Be able to work under any weather conditions.
Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday through Friday
- Occasional overtime may be required.
Pay
$20.00–$23.00 per hour, depending on experience.
