Afternoon Preschool & School-Age Teacher (Part-Time)
Kids Garden is a creative arts learning center where children learn through play, exploration, movement, and hands-on experiences. We're looking for an energetic, reliable, and compassionate Afternoon Teacher to join our team and help create a fun, safe, and engaging environment for children ages 1–12.

What You'll Do
- Supervise and care for children ages 1–12 in a safe, nurturing environment.
- Lead engaging activities using our established curriculum.
- Encourage learning through art, sensory play, movement, STEM activities, yoga, building challenges, and imaginative play.
- Foster positive relationships with children and their families.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom and assist children with daily hygiene needs.
- Work collaboratively with our teaching team while following all center policies and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience working with children preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with toddlers, preschoolers, and/or school-age children.
- CPR and First Aid certified, or willing to obtain certification.
- Comfortable changing diapers.

- Can confidently lead a group of 10–12 children in activities.
- Brings enthusiasm, creativity, and a positive attitude every day.
- Enjoys art, music, movement, or other creative activities (a plus!).
- Works well as part of a team.
- Is dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Can multitask in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Remains calm, patient, and safety-focused at all times.
- Is able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the shift.
Schedule
Monday–Friday: 1:15 PM – 6:30 PM
- 4–5 afternoon shifts per week
- Friday availability is required
- Occasional Parent's Night Out events on Saturdays from 4:30 PM – 8:30 PM
