Overview
Join our dynamic transportation team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver, where your skills will drive safety, reliability, and exceptional service. We are seeking a dependable and experienced CDL Class A Driver to join our team as an Over-the-Road (OTR) driver. This position involves hauling freight on long-distance routes, primarily running from the Northeast to destinations such as Texas and returning. Drivers can expect weekly turnaround/home time.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle over long distances.
- Transport freight according to all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Keep accurate electronic logs and required documentation.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding load status and delivery updates.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
- Maintain a clean driving record and professional appearance.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable OTR CDL driving experience.
- Clean driving record preferred.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Must meet all DOT/FMCSA qualification requirements.
- Ability to travel for extended periods and complete long-haul routes.
Compensation & Benefits
- Weekley rate $1,300 - $1,500
- Weekly turnaround/home time
- 1099 Independent Contractor position (driver is responsible for their own taxes)
- No company-sponsored health insurance or employee benefits are offered at this time.
