Duties
- Engage in outside sales activities by visiting prospective clients and conducting product demonstrations to showcase solutions tailored to their needs.
- Identify new business opportunities through lead generation strategies, cold calling, and territory management to expand our customer base.
- Manage existing accounts by nurturing relationships, upselling products or services, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective account management.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to penetrate target markets and increase sales volume within assigned territories.
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track customer interactions, sales pipelines, and follow-up activities for optimal territory sales management.
- Conduct product demos and technical sales presentations to educate clients on features, benefits, and value propositions of our offerings.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to implement campaigns that support inside sales efforts and enhance brand visibility in competitive markets.
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technology sales with a strong understanding of territory management and lead generation techniques.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively while maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Proficiency in CRM software like Salesforce or similar platforms for managing customer data and tracking sales activities.
- Strong communication skills for conducting product demos, presentations, and customer service interactions that foster trust and loyalty.
- Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling, and develop strategic plans accordingly.
- Experience in retail or direct sales environments with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
- Demonstrated success in cold calling, inside sales, or territory sales roles with a proactive approach to business development.
