The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all medical bills are accurately processed and that payments are collected in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical billing and coding, an understanding of health insurance policies, and strong customer service skills. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask and work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Process medical claims and submit them to insurance companies for payment.
- Verify accuracy of patient information and insurance coverage.
- Review and analyze patient accounts for accuracy and completeness.
- Resolve any discrepancies in billing or coding.
- Maintain accurate records of all billing activities.
- Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and other healthcare providers to ensure timely payment of claims.
Pay: $22.50 per hour
