Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A tractor-trailer transporting flatbed freight
- Secure loads using chains, straps, binders, tarps, and other required securement equipment
- Inspect equipment before and after each trip
- Transport freight safely and on schedule
- Complete electronic or paper logs and delivery documentation
- Follow DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Previous flatbed experience preferred
- Knowledge of proper load securement procedures
- Clean driving record
- Ability to meet DOT requirements
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (including THC/Marijuana) and background check
- Professional attitude and commitment to safety
