Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Inside Sales Associate to join our team. This individual will serve as a point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service, processing orders, generating quotes, and supporting the sales process. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of our product offerings. This role requires the ability to coordinate with internal teams and ensure customer needs are met efficiently and accurately.

- Respond to inbound sales inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner.
- Generate accurate quotes and process sales orders using CRM and ERP systems.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and offering appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and logistics teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Provide product information and technical support to customers as needed.
- Proactively follow up on outstanding quotes and opportunities to close sales.
- Handle customer complaints and returns with empathy and efficiency.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date customer records and documentation.
- Identify potential areas for process improvement and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Characteristics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook and Excel.
- Experience using CRM or ERP systems to manage sales and customer data.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle challenging situations calmly.
- Willingness to learn about fall protection systems and safety equipment.
- Team player who can collaborate across departments effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in inside sales or customer service, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment.
- Associate's degree or higher in Business, Communications, or related discipline.
- Knowledge of fall protection systems, construction safety, or related fields a plus.
Working Conditions
Office environment with standard business hours. May require extended hours during peak times. Occasional visits to manufacturing or job sites may be needed to support customer solutions.
