Summary
Valcor Security is hiring a Loss Prevention Team Lead for Brandy Melville in Los Angeles. You run loss prevention on the retail floor, lead a small team of officers, and partner with store management to protect merchandise and keep the environment safe and welcoming for customers. This is a hands-on floor role. You set the standard your team follows.
Pay & Schedule
- $25.00/hour
- Full-time, 40 to 50 hours per week
- Overtime available
- Includes some weekends (retail hours)
What You'll Do
- Provide visible loss prevention presence on the retail floor to deter theft
- Monitor for shoplifting and suspicious activity; observe, document, and report per company and client policy
- Lead and coach a team of 4 to 5 loss prevention officers on site
- Partner daily with store management and keep the client satisfied
- Train officers on floor coverage, deterrence, and reporting standards
- Complete daily activity and incident reports through the Belfry app
- Follow all apprehension and engagement procedures strictly per client and company policy
What We're Looking For
- Valid California BSIS Guard Card (required)
- 1+ year of retail loss prevention experience (required)
- Lead or supervisory experience preferred
- Professional, observant, and calm under pressure
- Strong communication with store management, customers, and your team
- Comfortable with smartphone apps for reporting (Belfry)
- Available for full-time hours including weekends
