Position Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) in Interventional Radiology (IR) provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The RN collaborates with radiologists, physicians, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, high-quality patient care before, during, and after procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Assessment and Preparation
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments prior to procedures.
Review medical history, medications, allergies, and laboratory results.
Educate patients and families regarding procedures, risks, benefits, and post-procedure care.
Obtain and verify informed consent documentation.
Required Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Pay: $70.00 - $94.00 per hour
