Duties
- Coordinate patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and follow-ups to ensure timely care delivery
- Assist patients with check-in procedures, gather medical histories, and verify insurance information
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and manage documentation in compliance with health regulation policies
- Provide administrative support by processing referrals, authorizations, and billing inquiries related to health insurance
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointment details, pre-visit instructions, and post-visit care plans
- Support the clinical team by preparing exam rooms, managing medical supplies, and handling patient correspondence
- Ensure adherence to health regulations and privacy laws such as HIPAA to protect patient confidentiality
Experience
- Prior experience working in a medical office or dental office environment is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of health regulation policies and medical administrative procedures
- Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is essential
- Familiarity with health insurance processes and terminology enhances your ability to assist patients effectively
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing medical documentation and scheduling
- Previous experience supporting healthcare teams with administrative tasks in a fast-paced setting is advantageous

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
