Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will ensure high-quality results that enhance the aesthetic appeal and durability of structures. Duties
- Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, caulking, plastering, and surface repairs to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply paints, stains, coatings, and sealants using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless and conventional spray equipment), and other hand or power tools
- Perform structural painting on various surfaces such as stucco, wood framing, and metal fixtures with precision and care
- Conduct surface preparation for construction spray painting and coating applications on both interior and exterior surfaces while adhering to safety regulations
- Use ladder work safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas while following all safety protocol guidelines including respiratory protection measures
- Assist with renovation projects by performing carpentry tasks like trim carpentry or fixture installation as needed for comprehensive project completion
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential, commercial, or industrial painting environments with a solid understanding of construction site procedures
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless), brushes, rollers, and scaffolding equipment safely
- Knowledge of surface preparation techniques such as sanding, caulking, plastering, masonry work, and concrete finishing
- Additional skills in remodeling, restoration work, welding basics, fixture installation or handyman experience are a plus
