Position Summary
RDM Industrial Electronics is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Customer Service Representative / Shipping & Receiving team member to join our team.
This position is primarily focused on providing exceptional customer service while supporting our shipping and receiving operations. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers, helping ensure they receive the outstanding service RDM is known for. In addition, you'll assist our technicians with light assembly and repair-related tasks as needed. No prior electronics experience is required. We're happy to train the right individual who has excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

Position Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Greet and assist walk-in customers
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails professionally
- Assist customers with product questions, sales, and service
- Communicate with customers and RDM branch locations regarding repairs and shipments
- Process invoices and maintain accurate records
Shipping & Receiving
- Verify products and parts for customer orders
- Pack orders using appropriate shipping materials
- Prepare outgoing shipments
- Receive and process incoming packages
- Maintain an organized shipping and receiving area
Technician Support
- Assist technicians with the repair of petroleum and car wash electronics
- Disassemble and reassemble electronic products
- Clean products using approved cleaning methods and chemicals
- Perform basic repair tasks as directed by technicians (training provided)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Pay: $15.43 - $19.98 per hour
