We are seeking an Appliance Repair Technician to become a part of our team! Mr. Smith's Appliance Repair is a respected local appliance repair company that takes care of the community. You will diagnose and repair various appliances and advise customers on the best course of action.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer's houses and diagnose and repair various appliances from various manufacturers
- Treat customers with respect and dignity at all times
- Complete and submit invoices and part orders as the day goes on
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Track all equipment and supplies
- Maintain company vehicle and part stock
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience working on washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, cooktops, microwaves, freezers, refrigerators, etc.
- Valid Driver's License and good driving record
- EPA Certification
- Ability to handle physical workload including being able to safely lift up to 50 pounds multiple times a day. And the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances
- Must have own hand tools (specialized tools provided if needed)
