About Arizona Relationship Institute
The Arizona Relationship Institute is a licensed counseling agency providing Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and EMDR to individuals, couples, families and groups. The AZRI team mission is “facilitating resilience through healing relationships”. All our therapists are trained in and pursuing certification in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and EMDR. As a licensed facility, we are proud to serve clients who carry Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance as well as self-pay clients.
Our clients are high functioning professionals dealing with various life transitions and seeking to improve the quality of their lives. We specialize in treating relational distress within couples and families, infidelity, trauma, sexual difficulties, desire discrepancy, faith crises and faith transitions. We pride ourselves in being a safe haven and secure base for clients and therapists of diverse populations.
If you are looking for a all inclusive place to work this is the place for you. If you want to be in private practice without the hassle of running it yourself we can help. We have different contracts for all different needs. Our contracts for fully incensed therapist are flexible.
Qualifications
Ideal Candidate
This position is best suited for a highly motivated therapist who enjoys private practice but does not want the hassle or stress of running their own practice (marketing, billing, scheduling, rent, etc…). It is also suitable for someone who prefers working as part of a collaborative team of therapists, rather than practicing in isolation and has a passion for practicing therapy.

Skills / Requirements
This position requires a strong work ethic and the ability to take pride in the quality of services you are providing. A balance of attention to detail and paperwork with personality and warmth is a must. You must be willing to work within the constraints of agency regulations and insurance reimbursement with a positive attitude. Dedication to the team and the overall growth of the practice is vital.
- Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, LMFT
- Completed EFT Externship (or imminent plans to attend)
- Completed EMDR Level I & II Training (or imminent plans to attend)
- Commitment to becoming a Certified EFT Therapist
- Maintain membership in AZEFT and ICEEFT (or imminent plans to join)
- Provide EFT and EMDR therapy to individuals & couples
- Must not practice independently outside of the agency in any capacity
- Commitment to continuing education in EFT, EMDR and trauma-informed care.
- You decide how many client hours per week (plus the additional time needed for case management, consultation & record keeping)
- Willingness to work weekends as needed (weekends are compensated at a higher rate than weekdays)
- Willingness to comply with documentation protocol necessary for receiving insurance reimbursement
- Competency with documenting “medical necessity” in progress notes and treatment plans
- Completion of notes and other required documentation within 24 hours of completion of session
- Comfortable working with high status, high conflict couples

Equipment: Must have a smartphone, computer access and be comfortable with technology.
Technical Proficiency
- Using electronic management software for client records
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office 365 products (outlook, word, excel, power point, etc)
- Video recording sessions and reviewing therapists’ sessions
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $62.40 - $90.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
