Job Title: Special Education Teacher
Location: Joliet, Illinois

We are currently interviewing for a Special Education teacher to work with a school district near Joliet, IL. As a contract employee you will be paid a competitive hourly rate that includes both direct and indirect services. More details about this position are below.
Position Schedule and Compensation:
Full-time: 37.5 hours per week
Dates: August 14, 2026 - June 2026
Caseload: 3th-5th grade, self-contained
Duties: Supporting student's educational access, lesson planning, adapting/implementing IEPs, classroom/case management, managing paraprofessionals
Requirements:
Bachelor's Level Degree or Higher in Special Education or related field
Must hold an active Learning Behavior Specialist endorsement (LBS1)
Must hold an active IL Professional Educator License (PEL)
Prior experience in school settings is preferred
