Title: Aviation Tool Room Specialist
Location: Englewood, CO
Pay Rate: $30 per hour
Summary:
Aerospace company is seeking a detail-oriented
Tool Room Specialist to support DOW aviation modification and maintenance initiatives.
Description – Tool Room Spec:
- Receive, store, and issue tools, machine tool fixtures, dies, and measuring devices
- Clean, oil, and perform minor repairs on tools and equipment
- Track surplus or obsolete equipment
- Ensure our tools and equipment are fully functional and kept in safe working condition to keep the continuity of work operations intact
Qualifications – Tool Room Spec:
- Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance
- Ability to operate vehicles, heavy equipment, and forklift
- Understand use, maintenance and repair of hand/power tools and equipment
- Experience with TCMax Asset Management Suite a plus
- Background in Aerospace, Defense, or US Military a plus
- High school diploma or GED equivalent and 2+ years of relevant experience
- Walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps
- Repeat same hand/arm/finger motions with finger and hand dexterity
- Frequently lift/carry 50 lbs.
- Work in exposure to outdoor weather
- Work in exposure to loud noises
- Work in occasional exposure to fumes and hazardous chemicals / materials
- Safety Sensitive Position: Responsible for safety and security of people and property
- Inspect, handle, and transport dangerous and hazardous materials
