Location: Tacoma, WA
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Machine Operator to join our Pultrusion Manufacturing team in Tacoma, WA. In this role, you will support the production of high-quality fiberglass lineal products by operating equipment, using hand and power tools, and ensuring all work meets quality and productivity standards. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Operate manufacturing equipment and support fiberglass pultrusion production processes.
Follow standardized work instructions and production specifications to ensure quality products.
Measure, inspect, and verify product dimensions using measuring tools, including tape measures.
Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Maintain production goals related to quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
Perform routine material handling and movement of product throughout the production process.
Identify and report quality concerns, equipment issues, or safety hazards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with housekeeping and safety standards.
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Demonstrate MITER Brands' Core Values in all interactions and daily work activities.
Required
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn manufacturing processes.
Experience using hand tools and power tools safely.
Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and fractions.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred
1+ year of experience in manufacturing, production, machine operation, warehouse, fabrication, fiberglass, composites, or industrial painting environments.
Experience working with production equipment or automated machinery.
Knowledge of quality and safety standards in a manufacturing setting.
