Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Marijuana Budtender to join our team. There are two spots available one Full-time position and one Part-hour. Postions require some flexibility on schedule.
Must reside in The Dalles or Dallesport and willing to be on call.

Full-time (Manager)
- Tuesday 2:30 pm to 8:15 pm
- Wednesday 12:00pm to 8:15 pm
- Thursday 12:00pm to 8:15pm
- Friday 12:00pm to 8:15 pm
- Saturday 9:00am to 8:15pm
Part-Time Budtender:
- Tuesday 4:00 pm to 8:15 pm
- Wednesday 4:00 pm to 8:15 pm
- Thursday 4:00 pm to 8:15pm
- Friday 4:00 pm to 8:15 pm
- Saturday 9:00am to 8:15pm
In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers in selecting the right cannabis products for their needs. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring that all customers have a positive experience at our dispensary.
Duties
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences regarding cannabis products.
- Provide detailed information about various strains, edibles, concentrates, and other cannabis products.
- Utilize upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and maximize sales opportunities.
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately and securely.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked display of products, ensuring that inventory is replenished as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work atmosphere.
- Supervise and train new staff members on product knowledge and customer service best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
Requirements
- Must Have OLCC Marijuana Workers Permit or be in process of obtaining permit.
- Previous experience in retail or grocery store environments is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- MUST Reside in The Dalles
- Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management and sales tracking.
- Experience with cash handling procedures and operating cash registers.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting while also taking initiative when necessary.
- Knowledge of cannabis products, including strains, effects, and consumption methods is a plus but not required
- Must be at least 21 years old in accordance with state laws governing cannabis sales.
- Must be able to follow Rules and State Mandated Guidelines.
