Job Overview
This is an office-based role responsible for managing EDI order processing and ensuring accurate, timely communication between our systems and retail trading partners. You'll work closely with our salesman and SCM team with 3PL warehouse to keep purchase orders, shipments, and inventory data flowing smoothly across all EDI-enabled retail channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage EDI transmission processes including 850 (Purchase Order), 855 (PO Acknowledgment), 856 (ASN/Advance Ship Notice), 860 (PO Change), and 870 (Order Status) to ensure timely and accurate order processing
- Generate and transmit ASNs accurately and on time to meet retailer compliance requirements
- Create shipping labels and carton/pallet labels in accordance with each retailer's compliance and routing requirements
- Prepare outbound shipping documentation including bills of lading, ensuring full compliance with retailer-specific requirements
- Coordinate outbound shipment details and schedules with the 3PL warehouse and internal SCM team to ensure on-time, accurate fulfillment
- Monitor daily EDI reports to identify and resolve missing, delayed, or failed transactions
- Identify and correct data discrepancies between internal systems and trading partners
- Maintain accuracy across styles, pricing, quantities, and shipping information on all purchase orders
- Maintain detailed records to support accurate billing and inventory control
What We're Looking For
- 1+ year of hands-on EDI experience (order entry, transaction monitoring, or related systems)
- Experience with EDI platforms such as TrueCommerce or SPS Commerce (preferred)
- High attention to detail and strong data accuracy under deadline pressure
- Comfortable managing high-volume workloads in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of major retailer EDI and routing requirements (e.g., Target, JCPenney, Nordstrom, or similar)
- Experience working with major retail accounts (department stores, specialty retailers, or big-box channels)
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Pipe 17, ODOO, SAP, or similar)
- Background in beauty distribution
- Korean language proficiency is a plus, though not required
