As a Security Officer Patrol Driver - Evenings in Lyndhurst, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and security-related concerns.

Monitor activity at the location and assist with directing foot traffic, supporting store opening and closing routines, and addressing questions or requests from the public in a professional manner.

Help to deter unauthorized behavior, loitering, and/or policy violations by maintaining a visible presence and communicating with management, tenants, and/or local responders when needed.
Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
