Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications
- Operate various kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, fryers, mixers, and slicers
- Follow food safety protocols and handle ingredients with proper hygiene practices to prevent contamination
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen tools through regular cleaning and sanitation
- Assist in meal preparation for both daily service and special catering events
- Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate orders, timing, and presentation standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience a plus, but we can train.
- Some knowledge of food handling, safety standards in production, and food safety management practices
- Experience with food preparation, cooking, and operating kitchen equipment efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with kitchen team members
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain consistency in meal presentation
