We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team and help us maintain high standards of service and operation.
Position Summary:
The Assistant Restaurant Manager will support the daily operations of the restaurant and country club, ensuring top-notch service and maintaining smooth and efficient operations. You will be responsible for overseeing staff, managing guest experiences, and assisting in the overall management of food and beverage services. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in day-to-day operations, including overseeing dining services, special events, and club activities.
- Supervise, train, and schedule front-of-house staff to ensure excellent guest experiences.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with a professional and friendly attitude.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering and tracking supplies.
- Assist in planning and executing events, banquets, and private functions.
- Ensure that health and safety standards are met and maintained.
- Develop and implement strategies for improving operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
- Ensure all financial and operational reports are completed accurately and on time.
- Work closely with other departments to create a harmonious environment for staff and guests alike.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant management, preferably in a country club or similar setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry.
- High school diploma required; degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
