Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair styling, barbering, and grooming services including cuts, trims, shaves, and styling for diverse client needs.
- Educate clients on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail options to promote ongoing maintenance and upselling opportunities
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by adhering to health regulations during all services and ensuring tools are properly sterilized
- Assist at the front desk with client check-in/out, appointment bookings, and answering inquiries in a friendly manner
- Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair threading, color theory, and store management best practices
Experience
- Proven experience as a licensed cosmetologist or barber with a strong background in hair styling and grooming techniques
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service while building rapport with diverse clientele
- Strong communication skills to effectively explain services and product benefits to clients
- Previous store management or mentoring experience is a plus but not required
