Bartender Responsibilities
- Prepare bar and restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
- Attend to customers immediately; serve restaurant tables as needed
- Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
- Take/serve orders, answer questions and make recommendations for other products
- Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
- Deal with problems with a positive attitude
- Present customer checks and facilitate payment
- Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and patrons
- Assess bar customers’ needs and make recommendations
- Include Server responsibilities as listed above
Bartender Requirements Resume with proven restaurant bartending experience
- Customer-oriented approach and patience
- Problem solving and decision making skills
- Hands on experience in cashier duties
- Excellent people skills
- Responsible and trustworthy
- Attention to cleanliness and safety
- High school diploma; food safety training will be considered a plus
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Computer literacy
- Knowledge of a second language is not required but is a plus
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar/wait area organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate - PLCB or TIPS
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25,989.00 - $50,182.00 per year
