Duties

- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and food processors
- Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation by following proper handling procedures and cleaning protocols
- Support food service operations by serving meals promptly and courteously to guests or residents
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal timing, presentation, and quality control
- Ensure all food products meet safety standards in production, storage, and handling
Experience
- Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide within healthcare or food service settings
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations in restaurants or catering environments
- Familiarity with menu planning, recipe adherence, and food safety management practices
- Hands-on experience with operating commercial kitchen equipment and knife skills including slicing techniques
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff and team members
- Knowledge of food industry standards related to safety, sanitation, and quality assurance
- Prior experience serving in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is essential
